ELIGIBILITY DETAILS:
AGE LIMIT :
- Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (8) of section 20 of the T.N. Government Servants (Conditions of Services) Act, 2016, no person shall be eligible for appointment by direct recruitment to any of the categories specified in these rules, if he / she has completed 40 years of age, on the first July 2023.
- Provided that for direct recruitment to any of the categories specified in these rules, the age limit prescribed above shall be increased by five years in respect of candidates belonging to Backward Classes, Backward Class Muslims, Most Backward Classes or Denotified Communities, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Destitute widows of all castes.
SALARY :
- Block Educational Officer in the minimum pay of Rs.36900-116600 (Level-18)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
- A degree of any University recognized by University Grant Commission or its equivalent and B.Ed. Degree in any University recognized by University Grant Commission or its equivalent. Provided that a degree should be from any one of the subjects such as Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, Geography and History.
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA :
- Candidates who obtained a Degree after undergoing a course of one year duration (Double degree /Dual degree etc.) are not eligible to apply for this recruitment.
- Candidates who obtained any of the required qualifications (SSLC, HSC, U.G. Degree and B.Ed., degree) simultaneously are not eligible to apply for this recruitment.
- In cases where the Special Rules prescribe a Diploma or a Degree or a Post Graduate Degree as a qualification for appointment, then; -
or
(b) a degree obtained, after completion of S.S.L.C. and Higher Secondary
Course (10+2+3 or more)
APPLY PROCEDURE :
- Candidates should apply only through online mode in the Teachers Recruitment Board website: https://www.trb.tn.gov.in. The application process is entirely online. No other mode of application will be entertained.
- A Valid e-mail id and Mobile Number of candidates are mandatory for registration and e-mail id should be kept active for any future correspondence.
- Evidence for claims made by the candidate, while applying in online shall be uploaded by the candidate at the time of Registration itself. The same will be verified subsequently at the time of Certificate Verification.
- All the particulars and documents mentioned in the online application including name of the candidate, post applied for, subject applied for, communal reservation, date of birth, address and all other fields will be considered as final and no modifications will be allowed after the last date specified for applying through online. Since certain fields are mandatory and fixed which cannot be edited, candidates are requested to fill in the online application form with utmost care and caution, as no correspondence regarding change of those particulars will be entertained at any cost.

SELECTION PROCESS :
- Selection will be made based on the marks scored by the candidates in their academic and technical qualification(s) for the post of Laboratory Technician Grade-III duly following the rules of reservation and communal rotation issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu and satisfaction of qualification and other conditions stipulated in this notification. There will be no oral test (Interview) for the post.

Apply Procedure:
- Candidates should apply only through online in the Board‟s Website www.mrb.tn.gov.in.
- Before applying, the candidates should keep a scanned image of their coloud photograph and scanned image of their signature.
- A valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number is mandatory for registration and email ID and the given mobile number should be kept active till the declaration of results. MRB will send intimation regarding certificate verification, other Memos etc. only through the registered e-mail ID
- The candidates shall register their mobile number in the application to receive SMSs. All communications from the MRB will be through e-mail and SMS to the candidate’s registered primary mobile number/registered email only.
