Eligibility Details :
Age Limit :
- Stenographer Grade 'C' - 18 to 30 Years i.e., Candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply
- Stenographer Grade 'D' - 18 to 27 Years i.e., Candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply
- Upper Age-relaxation also permissible up to 5 years for SC,ST and 3 years for OBC.
Educational Qualification :
- Candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University
Selection Process :
- Computer Based Examination
- Skill Test in Stenographer
- Exam Center in Tamilnadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirapalli & Tirunelveli

Application Fees:
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Person with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Application Procedure:Read the Notification given in the Notice of Examination Carefully before filling up the online Registration Form and Application Form.
- For One Time Registration click on Registeration click on Register now link available @https://ssc.nic.in
- Save the provided informations in Registration Form
- Finally take draft printout and review the informations filled in the Registration Form carefully. before Final submit
- By clicking Final submit different OTP s to will be send on your mobile number and email ID
- You need to enter one of the two OTP to complete the registration process.
- Now login to online system through your registration number and password.
- Now click on apply link to fill application form.
- Fill the recruit details in application form.
- Candidates must review that application before final submission.
- Once again confirm yourself and submit online application form.
- Finally candidates are advised to take a printout of application and keep safely for future reference.
