Every year, the RBI Assistant Exam is conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to fill the vacancies for the posts of Assistants in various branches of the RBI across India. RBI Assistant is responsible for maintaining records/files, document verification, ensuring financial stability, issuing & circulating new currency, day-to-day transactions, attending Government Treasury Work, replying to emails and more. Reserve Bank of India has released then RBI Assistant Notification 2023 for the Requirement for the post of Assistant - PY 2023 on the 13th September 2023 on its official website along with complete details for the exam. RBI Assistant 2023 Apply online has been started from 13th September 2023 onwards at www.rbi.org.in.

Eligibility Details :
Age Limit :
- Between 20 years and 28 years candidates born not earlier than 02.09.1995 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
- The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD's & 13 years for OBC PWDs) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of india rules. Candidates Relaxation in upper age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through RBI official Notification 2023 for more reference
Educational Qualification: - At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for
SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
- A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen)
should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the
matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years
of defence service.
- Candidates applying for post in a particular recruiting Office should be proficient in the
language (i.e., know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of
the states falling under the recruiting Office.

Application Fee/Exam Fee for RBI Assistant:
- SC/ST/PwBD/EXS - Rs.50/- 18% GST
- GEN/OBC/EWS - Rs.450/- 18% GST
- Note: The applicants shall pay the Applicantion Fee as indicated in the Table Above through Online Payment Mode Only
Salary Details:
- Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.20,700/- per month in the scale of Rs.20700
– 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) - 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850
– 2850 (1) – 55700 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial
Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for Assistant will be approximately Rs.47,849/-.
- House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid to them, additionally, if they are not staying in
Bank’s accommodation.
