The SSC GD Constable exam is a national level exam conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission of India to recruit candidates for the General Duty post of Constables (GD) in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR and SSF, SSC GD Notification 2023 has been released by the Commission to recruit eligible male and female candidates for 26146 constables Posts for which the online application link has been activated on 24th November 2023 with the release of SSC GD notification at www.ssc.nic.in. As per the SSC exam schedule released, the SSC GD Constable exam is to be held from 20th February to 12th March 2024. Eligibility Details :
Age Limit :
- Constable (GD) - 18-23 years as on 01.01.2024. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.01.2001 and later than 01.01.2006 in normal course
- The Upper Age Limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 Years for OBC and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age Limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through SSC official Notification 2023 for more reference
Educational Qualification:
- The candidates must have Passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board.
Salary Details:
- Pay Level - 3 (Rs.21,700 - 69,100)
Selection Process:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Medical Examination and Document Verification
- Exam Center in Tamilnadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli, Vellore & Puducherry
Application Fees:
- Women Candidates and Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex- Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
- Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards.
- Fee can ve paid by the candidates up to 01.01.2024 (2300 Hours) through online mode only. There will be no option to pay fee through any other mode.
